Knowledge Atlas is a free educational website. By using it, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so they're short.

Using the site

You're welcome to read, explore and share links to any page. Please don't try to break, overload or misuse the site, for example by attacking it, scraping it aggressively, or sending spam through the feedback form.

Accuracy

We work hard to be accurate. Every page is checked against its sources and shows an Evidence Level. But pages are written with AI assistance, are not individually reviewed by subject experts, and can contain mistakes or simplifications. For anything important, check the original sources we link to. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

Not professional advice

The site is for learning only. It is not medical, legal, financial, engineering or safety advice. See our disclaimer.

Our content

The text, design and map of Knowledge Atlas are our original work. You're welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please ask us before copying whole pages or large parts of the site.

Copyright concerns

If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, email hello@knowledge-atlas.org with the page address, the work concerned and how to reach you. We'll look at it promptly and remove or fix anything that shouldn't be here.

Other websites and institutions

We link to many other websites and introduce the institutions behind trusted knowledge. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content. We are not affiliated with the institutions we mention unless we say so, and naming them doesn't mean they endorse this site. Their names and trademarks belong to them.

Advertising

Some topic pages show ads from Google. Ads are chosen by Google, not by us, and showing an ad is not an endorsement. Money never changes which sources we cite. See the privacy policy for how ads use cookies and how to make your choices.

What you send us

When you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the site. If you tick the box allowing it, we may quote your comment on the site with the name you gave. You can ask us to remove it at any time. Please don't send anything unlawful, offensive, or anyone else's personal information.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is, free of charge. We may change, pause or remove any part of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or relying on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. This does not take away any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
